Max is now a THREE months old

It has been a blast watching little Max grow. It is amazing to me how much a little baby learns in just three shorts months. Last week he was starting hit some toys from his jungle mobile with his fist. I could tell he was thinking and working very hard at trying to grab his toys. He was putting all his effort into it. He did not understand the concept of opening his hands to grab at the toys. Now about a week later he has learned to open his hands he so can grab his toys. He is getting so good at it that as soon as I put him down he has the music ringing.

Max is starting to laugh a lot more. It doesn't take much to get him laughing. Especially with his Daddy. It seems that anything that Michael does just makes little Max laugh. It is the cutest thing. It is easy to see how much Max loves his Daddy.

Max also got his first tooth on his three month birthday. I was very surprised because his cousin Ronen who is about five months older doesn't have any teeth yet. Because I was not expecting it I couldn't understand why he was acting a little grumpy until I saw his tooth and I realize that his month must be hurting. Poor kid. He seems to be doing a lot better.

I just love having Max around. I am so excited to continue to watch him grow.

I am so excited that we were able to get family pictures taken yesterday. I have been wanting some since Max was born. Camile Kellogg who was in my ward up at BYU-Idaho for a semester and also in my single ward down in Provo wrote on facebook that she was wanted some models to photograph because she would like to go into photography. I was very happy to let her take our pictures. So we drove up to Mapleton Canyon to take the pictures. I have never been up there before, but it turned out to be a gorgeous place to take pictures. I think the pictures turned out great. My favorite photo is of Max drooling. The only problem with the pictures is that Max did not want to look up. He wanted to look down. He likes to do that a lot and to drool. It does make me a little jealous how good Camile is but she told me that will be happy to teach me some of her tricks. Thanks Camile for taking great photos. We will have to try it again maybe when Max is a little older and will hold his head up.
